Integrative Soft Tissue Treatment & Massage Therapy: What's the Difference?
Soft tissue treatment resolves misalignment by precise manipulation of fascial, visceral, scar and/or nerve/artery
tissue. It addresses much deeper problems than traditional massage therapy. In contrast, massage therapy
often provides acute relief but is less able to correct the underlying structural problems that cause chronic
pain.
Treatment is most effective when tailored to each clients' specific needs. In our sessions I evaluate your
unique structural patterns to identify underlying disorders. Using precise hands-on techniques and guided
movements, your body structure is re-organized to relieve the patterns causing these disorders, rather
than just masking pain.
Emphasis is placed on alignment, balance and ease of movement. I will help you to get out of pain, prevent
new injuries and heal from old ones. In each session, we will explore specific movements to help keep you
out of pain and reinforce your development.
